The Piko 27509 represents a steam locomotive of the class G7.1 Rh 7000 of the Belgian state railroad SNCB in epoch III - a carefully realized model of a classic freight locomotive with typical country equipment for the Belgian railroad operation of the 1950s and early 1960s.

The model consistently implements the typical features of the SNCB prototype and is equipped with a modern PluX22 interface for digitization. It is also prepared for sound retrofitting and the installation of a steam generator, which makes it particularly interesting for realistic steam locomotive operation scenarios.
