With the Piko 27514, PIKO brings an extraordinary steam locomotive of the class G7.1 (class 55) in an elegant photo finish of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG ) to the H0 rails - especially for Märklin-compatible AC systems. This locomotive represents Era II and offers a fascinating combination of historic appearance and modern digital technology with full mfx® functionality.

The model is factory-equipped with a high-quality PluX22 sound decoder (PSD XP) that offers numerous realistic steam locomotive sound functions. The fits mfx® seal of approval guarantees automatic registration and full compatibility with current Märklin digital control centers.

Model technology & field of application

The locomotive measures 193 mm over buffers and is designed for layouts with a minimum radius of 358 mm. Thanks to four traction tires, it can easily handle train loads. The tender is finely detailed and the entire construction is robust and reliable.
