The Piko 27741 is a highly detailed 1st class passenger coach from the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) from Era IV. This high-quality H0 coach impresses with its true-to-original color scheme, precise printing and a finely detailed interior. The model is ideally suited for use in express or inter-zone trains of the 1970s and 80s in the DR area.
The crystal-clear, flush-mounted windows allow a direct view of the prototypically designed coach interior. Whether on the layout or in the display case - this 1st class coach sets standards in appearance and functionality.
The coach corresponds to the typical appearance of the DR domestic long-distance trains of Era IV. The fine paintwork in DR green, the authentic 1st class markings and separately applied details round off the harmonious overall appearance.
With a length over buffers of 264 mm and a recommended minimum radius of 358 mm, the wagon is suitable for use on all standard H0 layouts. The cleanly mounted axles ensure excellent rolling characteristics, even with longer trains.
The car has an NEM shaft with close coupler link for safe couplings and problem-free operation. AC wheel sets (item no. 56060) can be easily exchanged for AC users.
