PIKO 27744 - H0 1st class passenger coach, ČD, Era VI

With the Piko 27744, PIKO brings a modern 1st class passenger coach of the Czech State Railways (ČD) in the design of Era VI to the model railroad layout. The coach meets current standards in international long-distance transportation and is an excellent addition to train sets heading for the Czech Republic, Slovakia or Central Europe.

The model impresses with its true-to-original color scheme and fine printing based on the ČD model. The crystal-clear, flush-mounted windows provide an excellent view of the detailed interior with 1st class seating arrangement. A robust design and excellent running characteristics make the car ideal for regular use on H0 layouts.

Modern design & high-quality workmanship

The paintwork in the current ČD color scheme (blue/grey with yellow 1st class markings) is precise and true to the original. The car perfectly complements train sets with locomotives of the CD series 380, 371 or international traction.

Technology & running characteristics

With a length over buffers of 264 mm and a minimum radius of 358 mm, the model is suitable for reliable operation on all standard H0 track systems. The wheel sets with fine bearings ensure smooth running and excellent rolling characteristics - even in long trains.

Compatibility

Equipped with an NEM shaft and close coupler link, the car is fully compatible with all common coupling systems. The conversion kit with AC wheel sets (item no. 56060) is available for AC users.
