The Piko 27749 is a modern container wagon of the type Lgs from DB AG, equipped with an eye-catching 40-foot Cosco container in panda design. This model brings current container logistics in H0 scale to the model tracks - ideal for realistic freight trains of Era VI.

The wagon is based on the typical appearance of the Deutsche Bahn AG container wagons in modern rail freight transport. The sharply contoured printed panda container is a real eye-catcher at any shunting yard or in a long container train.

Container transport in its most modern form

The model is loaded with a faithfully designed 40' Cosco container bearing the popular Panda advertising design - a motif that is used on real freight trains all over the world. The container is removable and can be combined in many different ways.

Technology & running characteristics

With a 157 mm clearance and a minimum radius of 358 mm, the wagon offers the best conditions for use on all H0 layouts. The excellent running characteristics and the NEM shaft with close coupler link ensure reliable operation in container traffic.

Suitable for alternating current & combinable

The model is designed for DC systems, but can be quickly converted for use on Märklin systems using AC wheel sets (item no. 56061).
