The Piko set of 2 VTG telescopic hood w agons is a modern freight wagon set for the transportation of sensitive steel goods, coil rolls or machine parts. These vehicles are used throughout Europe and are symbolic of the closed heavy goods traffic of Era VI - now as an elaborately designed model set for H0 DC layouts.

Technology & design - coherent, heavy, well thought out

The two wagons have realistic, structured telescopic hoods with finely reproduced lever lugs, as used in the original for side opening. Numerous separately applied parts and a harmonious reproduction of the bogies make the model a visual and technical highlight. Despite their length, the cars have excellent rolling characteristics.
