PIKO 28332 - H0 Set of 2 WTK / ÖBB self-unloading wagons, Era IV

With the Piko 28332 you get a high-quality set of 2 self-unloading wagons of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) in the design of the WTK (Wiener Tiefbaukombinat) for your H0 model railroad in Era IV. These wagons are ideal for recreating realistic bulk goods transportation of the 1970s and 1980s.

The set consists of two wagons with different road numbers and is equipped with brakeman's platforms, free-standing ladders and finely detailed lettering. The clean paintwork and the excellent rolling characteristics round off the high-quality overall impression.

Typical construction site and industrial traffic

Self-unloading wagons such as these were mainly used for transporting building materials and ore. They were extremely efficient due to their simple loading and the possibility of unloading while driving on unloading tracks. They provide visual and technical variety on the model railroad - especially in block trains or as part of mixed freight trains.

Technical details & possible uses

With an overall length over buffers of 148 mm, the wagons are also suitable for smaller layouts. The models have an NEM shaft with close coupler link for safe operation and can be easily converted with AC wheel sets (item no. 56060).
