PIKO 28334 - H0 Set of 2 Workshop conversion wagons + Ks flat wagon, DB, Era IV

With the PIKO 28334 you get a typical set of two classic DB vehicles from Era IV in H0 scale. The set consists of a conversion car in a blue paint scheme with a red "cookie" workshop design and a Ks flat car - a combination that was frequently seen in the everyday life of many railroad depots and on shunting tracks.

The conversion wagons are based on old passenger coaches that were converted from the 1950s as workshop, lounge or spare parts wagons and used in local and shunting services. In this version, the car is impressive with its true-to-scale realization, individually attached grab irons, crystal-clear windows and a finely detailed interior that allows a clear view of the car interior. The matching Ks flat wagon completes the set as a universal transporter for workshop materials and heavy goods.

Detailed design for Era IV layouts

Both wagons impress with their high-quality workmanship, precise engravings and finely crafted details. The crystal-clear windows of the conversion wagon provide a view of the interior, which can be further highlighted with interior lighting if required (can be retrofitted with item #56297).

Technology & compatibility

The set is designed for operation in the direct current system (DC) and runs safely on layouts with a minimum radius of 358 mm. The cars are equipped with an NEM shaft and close coupler link and can be easily integrated into existing train formations. Suitable wheel sets for AC systems can be installed as an option (item ET53000-429 / 56060).
