The Piko 28343 2-Car Set of Articulated Tank Cars RTI brings two highly detailed cars with a distinctive tank shape and prototypical design to your model railroad.

The prototypes for these articulated tank cars were introduced in the early 1990s. Because each half of the tank is angled 3° toward the center, the contents—primarily petroleum products—can drain out almost completely.

Modern RTI Angled-Tank Cars for Freight Transport

The set consists of two RTI articulated tank cars with a faithful reproduction of the characteristic articulated tank. The design, featuring a brakeman’s platform, freestanding ladders, and a platform, ensures a convincing model appearance.
