Description

The PIKO turnout is equipped as a manual turnout with a defined end position for determining the route. All manual points are always permanently positioned in the direction of travel after passing through the points. A separate manual turnout drive is therefore not required. The points are supplied without an electric point machine. Retrofitting of the electric PIKO turnout drive (MBS116918) is possible at any time.

The frog of the turnout is de-energized, but even vehicles with small axle spacings can pass over it without any problems due to the very narrow rail profile spacing in the frog. Subsequent polarization of the frogs is not possible.
