The Piko BR 91.3 G steam locomotive with factory-installed PIKO sound decoder is the perfect combination of nostalgic railroad history and modern model railroad technology. The tender locomotive originally developed as the Prussian T 9.3 was operated by the Deutsche Reichsbahn from 1925 as class 91.3. It was in service with the German Federal Railroad until 1964 - here you can now experience this prototype with digitally switchable lighting, steam and realistic sound on your G layout.
The model offers digitally switchable cab and running gear lighting, a pulsed evaporator and prototypical sound effects via the integrated PIKO sound decoder. Doors, windows and water tank cover can be opened or folded down. Fine lines, separately applied details such as bell, whistle and spoke wheels with linkage round off the authentic appearance.
This locomotive was a real all-purpose machine in Era III: from light freight trains to local passenger trains. Its robust construction and compact design made it particularly popular on branch lines, light rail lines and in depots.
The model is fully digitally controllable and designed for indoor and outdoor use. The large scale and high-quality design guarantee reliable continuous operation - whether in the garden or on display. The minimum radius of 600 mm makes it the ideal choice for large-scale layout design.
For discerning model railroaders, collectors and garden railroad enthusiasts who want to combine historical operation with realistic sound and functionality. Ideal as a highlight for Era III layouts with a digital operating concept.
Get the Piko 37263 G steam locomotive with sound - for an unforgettable operating experience with light, steam and sound on your layout!
