The PIKO VT 98 rail bus in the design of the Prignitzer Eisenbahn Gesellschaft (PEG ) brings a striking Era V branch line vehicle to the tracks of your garden railroad. The model impresses with its elegant white paintwork, crystal-clear windows and a finely detailed interior.

The two-part rail bus consists of the motorized VT and the VS side car. Due to its faithfulness to the prototype, the train is not only suitable for passenger traffic, but also for operation with individual freight wagons - as was often the case on branch and private railroads.

Flexibly expandable - with steam and digital options

The model is prepared for the installation of a digital decoder (PluG interface) and a PIKO sound decoder (item no. 36536). A steam generator is also already installed - for particularly authentic steam effects on your garden railway layout. Additional lighting functions such as interior and end lighting can be retrofitted and controlled digitally.

Technology & operational safety

With a length over buffers of 507 mm, the rail bus is designed for operation from a minimum radius of 600 mm. The robust construction, finely crafted bogies and reliable power consumption make the model a solid piece of equipment for all garden railroaders interested in the romance of branch lines or modern museum trains.
