Description

With the two-axle and three-axle Reko cars, PIKO is responding to a frequently expressed wish of many model railroad enthusiasts of the garden railroad for these typical short DR passenger cars! The cars convince by contemporary mold construction, a robust construction corresponding to the hard outdoor operation, streak-free windows and sharp engravings. The cars are prepared for an unproblematic retrofitting of interior lighting, with which the interior decoration is shown to its best advantage. The coherent printing and painting round off the attractive effect of this vehicle series, which is important in the original and model, excellently. The cars in the appearance of the German State Railroad in Era III represent the ideal vehicles for reproducing short and long passenger trains in combination with many PIKO locomotives, e.g., class 95 #37230/37231 and class 50.35 #37240/37241.
