With the Piko 40488 BR G1206 diesel locomotive in the striking RailCargoGroup design, PIKO brings a modern and powerful freight locomotive to the N gauge tracks. The Era VI locomotive is ideal for all model railroaders who want to realistically depict contemporary freight traffic on their layout.
The G1206 is used by many railroad companies - the model shown here in the colors of the Austrian RailCargoGroup impresses with its clean paintwork, sharp printing and realistic engravings. The four-axle design and compact proportions are faithfully reproduced on a scale of 1:160.
The locomotive is equipped with an LED light change in white, which works depending on the direction of travel. Two traction tires provide the necessary traction for everyday operation on the layout. For use in digital model railroad operation, the model is equipped with an NEM 651 digital interface, which makes it easy to retrofit a decoder.
With a length over buffers of 92 mm and a minimum radius suitability of 192 mm, the locomotive is suitable for any N-gauge layout - from large-scale freight yards to compact branch lines.
