Description

Novelty 2023: The class 101 in the DB AG version in Era V. In the implementation of the class 101 in 1:160 scale, PIKO has perfectly matched the exterior design of the three-phase locomotive. Details such as the type DSA 350 single-arm pantographs have been reproduced in filigree. The sharply engraved bogies behind the low skirts round off the visual impression of the locomotive excellently. A powerful mid-mounted motor provides propulsion in the model. Two brass flywheel masses on the motor shaft provide excellent synchronization. For good traction, the locomotive also has two diagonally arranged wheels with traction tires. Thanks to the modern Next18 interface, a digital decoder can be retrofitted in no time at all.
