Description

Novelty 2023: The class 101 in the DB AG version in Era V. PIKO has perfectly captured the exterior design of the three-phase locomotive in the 1:160 scale version of the class 101. Details such as the single-arm pantographs of type DSA 350 have been delicately reproduced. The sharply engraved bogies behind the low aprons round off the visual impression of the locomotive perfectly. A powerful mid-mounted motor provides propulsion in the model. Two brass flywheel masses on the motor shaft provide excellent synchronization. The locomotive also has two diagonally arranged wheels with traction tires for good traction. In addition to the headlights with LED technology, the model also has cab lighting. In the sound version, the BR 101 has a matching PIKO sound decoder ex works.
