The MRCE Class 185 electric locomotive in Era VI as a contemporary model in N gauge. The striking proportions of the prototype have been transferred perfectly to scale in the model. The detailed engraved bogies, individually attached sandboxes, free-standing handles and filigree pantographs are evidence of modern toolmaking and excellent production techniques. The powerful central motor with its two finely balanced flywheels ensures excellent driving characteristics and high traction performance, which is further enhanced by two traction tires arranged diagonally on the middle axles. The model comes ex works with maintenance-free LED lighting with direction-dependent light change, as well as a PSD XP sound decoder, which enables even more prototypical operation on the model railway layout.
