Description

The skirted express train car in the paint scheme of a DR 1st/2nd class car in Era IV. PIKO has taken on a challenge with the new design of the type 42 skirted express train coaches and passed with flying colors. The elegant vehicles are excellently reproduced in N scale and close a large gap in the 1:160 scale vehicle fleet. The body impresses with its sharp and precise engravings, which have a pleasantly vivid effect, especially on the bogies and in the door area, and thus play a decisive role in shaping the harmonious appearance. The surface finish of the carriages consists of an extremely fine paint finish with absolutely sharp contour printing. Optional LED interior lighting for the carriages, which can be retrofitted in a few simple steps, provides additional atmosphere when the carriages are used on the layout.
