The PIKO 47151 brings a real steam locomotive veteran with an impressive soundscape to the model railroad: the BR 91.3 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, based on the Prussian T 9.3, now factory-equipped with a PIKO sound decoder. This locomotive is one of the most powerful and most frequently built tank locomotives of its time - and now also an absolute eye-catcher with acoustic added value in TT.
The T 9.3 was produced over 2,000 times from 1901 and was part of the backbone of local and regional passenger and freight services. In 1925, it was renamed the class 91 and remained in service until the 1970s. The PIKO model authentically reproduces this important locomotive on a scale of 1:120 - including DR driver's cab, DRG lamps and Knorr air pump.
The model impresses with its exact reproduction of the finest components: fine spoked wheels, filigree linkage, attached hand rods, whistle, bell, wind deflector as well as numerous lines, sand pipes and hand wheels. The coal box attachment gives the locomotive additional volume. A real model highlight for all fans of classic steam locomotive technology.
Equipped with a factory-installed Next18 sound decoder, the class 91.3 offers authentic steam locomotive sounds to accompany the operation of the locomotive. The cab and headlights can be switched digitally, while the white/red light changes depending on the direction of travel. Two traction tires guarantee good traction - even with demanding train services.
Get the PIKO 47151 TT DR Class 91.3 sound steam locomotive now - a classic with modern technology and impressive sound. The perfect choice for all those who want to experience and hear history - on your TT gauge Era III layout.
