The class 130 was one of the DR's most powerful diesel locomotives and was designed in particular for heavy freight traffic. PIKO has implemented the prototype excellently in the model: A heavy frame made of die-cast zinc not only gives the locomotive a realistic weight, but also ensures excellent tractive power and smooth running characteristics. The design of the roof with resistance brake and the correct window sizes exactly reflect the prototype.
