The PIKO model of the TGK2 "Kaluga" in the Bundeswehr version in Era V corresponds exactly to its chosen prototype in all characteristic details. The small locomotive is characterized by excellent low-speed characteristics in the shunting area and can therefore be used perfectly on the model railroad, for example on connecting tracks of industrial companies. With its die-cast zinc frame, the detailed and robust model has sufficient tractive forces for realistically long model railway trains, a clear view through the driver's cab, driver's cab lighting, specially attached free-standing door handles and hand grips and a digitally switchable white/red LED light change depending on the direction of travel. Thanks to the integrated Next18 interface, a digital decoder can be retrofitted in no time at all.
The model has TT close couplers!
