Description

Novelty 2023: The class 78 from PIKO with prototypical DR design and lettering in Era IV. Almost all of the lines were designed to be free-standing, the driver's cab, water boxes and smoke box are decorated with the finest replicas of the rivet heads. The five-pole PIKO motor with flywheel ensures excellent driving characteristics. Additional weights in the boiler and two traction tires ensure high tractive power. Thanks to the modern PluX22 interface, retrofitting a decoder is child's play. A loudspeaker and a smoke set can also be retrofitted with minimal effort. The LED lighting, which is dependent on the direction of travel, ensures an authentic operating atmosphere.
