The PIKO 50767 brings the powerful PKP TKt48 tank locomotive to your H0 layout in an exceptionally equipped version for Era III. This model combines authentic design with modern digital technology and is factory-equipped with a sound decoder and a working steam generator - for a particularly realistic steam locomotive experience!

The prototype - a mountain locomotive with history

Between 1950 and 1957, 191 class TKt48 locomotives were delivered to the Polish State Railways by the Fablok and Cegielski factories. The locomotives were specially designed for operation in mountainous regions such as the Krkonoše Mountains and the High Tatras. With their ability to turn at 80 km/h and their high friction weight, they were true all-rounders on the branch lines. In service until 1989, some examples have been preserved as museum vehicles.

The H0 version shines with die-cast zinc wheels, filigree brake linkage, window inserts in the driver's cab as well as an unobstructed, detailed interior with a fully equipped driver's cab.
