Description

Class 101 printing varinte with attractive DB AG advertising in Era VI. The modern design of the class 101 has been modeled exactly. The locomotive is prototypically painted in traffic red, including the "DB cookie". The single-arm pantographs have been reproduced with extreme precision. Sharply engraved bogies round off the visual appearance. Brake hoses that can be retrofitted are included to complete the set. A powerful, 5-pole motor ensures a smooth ride. Equipped with two flywheels, the PIKO BR 101 is extremely smooth-running. Two diagonally mounted traction tires provide traction when moving forward. Technical highlights are the built-in cab and cab lighting. The light changes depending on the direction of travel in red/white, of course using the latest LED technology. These functions can be switched separately in digital operation. This is controlled via a PluX22 decoder. The sound version is supplied with a PSD XP 5.1 S sound decoder. As a further highlight, the BR 101 has PIKO TrainSound® onboard.
