The PIKO 51133 is a modern and powerful electric locomotive for current freight traffic: the class 152 in the striking neon green livery of Captrain. This version is based on the well-known Siemens ES64F - a member of the EuroSprinter family - and brings a modern private railway atmosphere directly to your H0 model railway layout.

A EuroSprinter in the service of Captrain

The class 152 locomotives were originally developed for Deutsche Bahn and entered service in 1996. In addition to the DB vehicles, Siemens also produced two machines under the designation ES64F for the leasing company Dispolok, which were later transferred to the railroad company ITL and finally to Captrain. Today, they are used throughout Germany in the characteristic neon green livery - especially in container and freight transport.

Detailed model realization & reliable technology

The H0 model impresses with an exact replica of the locomotive shape, finely executed engravings and the true-to-original paintwork. The direction of travel-dependent light change in white/red is provided by modern LEDs. The locomotive has a PluX22 interface for easy digitization as well as digitally switchable cab lighting (when using a corresponding decoder). Two traction tires provide reliable traction - even with heavy trains.

Thanks to the PluX22 interface, the model is ideally prepared for retrofitting a PIKO sound decoder (item no. 56606). This means that the locomotive can also be acoustically upgraded and offers an even more realistic driving experience - ideal for modern Era VI layouts.
