Description

Form variant of the Rh 1018 of the ÖBB in Era III. The model appears as a variant without tail light, with twelve sand boxes and buffer beam in the original version. The fir green paintwork with a reseda green decorative stripe characterizes the exterior appearance, which is rounded off by the engraved ÖBB wing wheel on the front below the front windows. The model is equipped ex works with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker and has digitally switchable lighting in the engine room and driver's cabs.

The model bears the "fits mfx®" quality mark. In order to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital control centers, a new "fits mfx®" quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test.

These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the "fits mfx®" quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the "fits mfx®" logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.
