Description

The scale ICE 4 is the Piko model train highlight of the year. The train impresses with the finest printing, removable front caps for coupling 2 multiple units, realistically different versions of the cars, current pick-up from all wheels of the end cars, current-carrying couplers and white/red light change. The current pickup for sections without current is controlled by the leading end car without a braking mechanism so that the train can come to a stop exactly in front of signals showing stop despite the motor car being powered in the middle. The elaborate model also has 2 powerful motors with flywheels, cab lighting and is equipped with interior lighting ex works. The specially designed 20-pole decoder installed ex works and the latest generation PIKO sound module can handle the DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola® and Selectrix® data formats. The built-in loudspeaker is precisely tuned to the multiple unit. Many typical locomotive sounds such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeal and other switchable functions can be called up individually. With adjustable individual mapping. The tail light can be switched separately. Sound is also possible in analog operation - only engine noise. Due to the consistently true-to-scale implementation, the multiple unit can only be used from radius 2!
