With the Piko 51449 431.194 electric locomotive, PIKO is bringing a colorful and true-to-original version of the well-known Hungarian V43 series to the H0 DC layout. The locomotive is in service with the Hungarian state railroad MÁV in the current Era VI and features an attractive colour scheme, the finest engraving and solid technology - perfectly prepared for digitization and sound retrofitting.

The V43 - now known as the 431 series at MÁV - is one of the most frequently built electric locomotives in Eastern Europe. The model of the 431.194 features correct Era VI lettering, authentic paintwork and harmonious engravings on the locomotive body. The finely detailed roof equipment and the prototypical window and fan arrangements underline the high-quality overall impression.
