Description

The AC version of the locomotive is factory-equipped with a suitable decoder and prepared for retrofitting with sound. With the new design of the E 17 series, PIKO is consistently continuing the series of well-known old electric locomotives. The model reproduces the striking shapes of the prototype true to scale. In order to perfectly reproduce the operating condition in Era IV, all changes made to the prototype in the course of modernization were also taken into account in the model. In addition to the front windows, these also affected the roof line layout and the front end design. Technically, the new PIKO model has its finger on the pulse of the times and has silky-smooth running characteristics, good tractive power and a light change fitted as standard. Like the lighting in the driver's cab and engine room, this is designed using the latest LED technology.
