Description

Novelty 2023: Print version of the DB Class E 50 in Era III. The model follows the proven PIKO drive design with its construction. The solid five-pole diagonally grooved PIKO motor with two precisely balanced flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by four axles, is boosted by two traction tires that are mounted diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The headlights and marker lights are illuminated by LEDs whose red or white color changes with the direction of travel. The cab lighting and the marker lights can be controlled digitally. A modern PluX22 interface is available for the uncomplicated retrofitting of a digital decoder.
