Novelty 2023: Shaped version of the class 103 as a short version of the DB AG in Era V. Even more than 50 years after their appearance, the legendary cult locomotives of the BR 103 are among the visual highlights on German railroad lines thanks to their timeless appearance and attract a lot of attention. The model is equally impressive with its heavy die-cast metal frame with finely detailed body, the finest paintwork and printing and delicate metal pantographs. The five-pole, ball-bearing motor with two flywheels ensures excellent driving characteristics. The LED light changes white/red depending on the direction of travel and, like the cab interior lighting, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model has a PluX22 digital interface in accordance with NEM 658 and is prepared for simple retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
