Description

The class 1100 of the Dutch State Railways (NS) as an Expert model from PIKO impresses with its successful mold construction, harmonious roof curves and many attached parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing grab irons and stairs. The model has the matching lamp shapes, sharply engraved bogie covers with realistic spring pack replicas and exact replicas of the buffer beams. The lighting is designed with LEDs. The cab and engine room lighting as well as the headlights and marker lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and the motor with two large, precisely balanced flywheels ensure excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces. The model is supplied ex works with an mfx®-compatible PluX22 sound decoder.
