Description

Novelty 2023: Print variant of the cult locomotive of the class 118 in the version as E 18 of the DR in Era III. The PIKO model convinces with the coherent implementation of its prototype of the German Federal Railroad. The fine wheel sets, the exact reproduction of the prototypical roof equipment with filigree pantographs and the exact reproduction of the front sections are to be emphasized. The cab and engine room lights as well as the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with PluX22 decoders. The model, which has a die-cast zinc frame, has excellent running characteristics and high tractive effort. Retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker is prepared on the tidy circuit board with PluX22 interface.
