Novelty 2023: Print version of the Rh 1100 of the NS in Era IV. The PIKO Expert model of the 1100 series of the Dutch State Railways (NS) convinces with a successful mold construction, harmonious roof curves and many attached parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing handle bars and stairs. The model has the matching lamp shapes, sharply engraved bogie panels with realistic spring pack replicas and faithful replicas of the buffer beams. The lighting is provided by LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and rear lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be switched digitally. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and the motor with two large, precisely balanced flywheels ensure excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a PIKO sound decoder and a large loudspeaker.
