The Piko H0 sound diesel locomotive class 211 in the VLTJ (Vestjyske Jernbaner) version brings proven German Federal Railroad technology in an international guise to your layout. The V 100.10, originally developed for light passenger and freight train service, was adopted into the German Federal Railroad's numbering system in 1968 as class 211. In the service of the Danish VLTJ, the robust locomotive remained a reliable performer even in the 21st century - now implemented as an Era V model with a factory-installed PIKO sound decoder.

Detailed equipment - with digital soundscape

The locomotive has digitally switchable cab lighting, a detailed center cab, finely etched fan grilles and a cooling system with a freely rotating fan wheel. The look is complemented by free-standing hand and handle bars. The factory-fitted PluX22 sound decoder with PIKO TrainSound® provides realistic engine noises and additional functions that bring the model to life. The white/red light change depending on the direction of travel ensures an authentic operating image.

Class 211 - The all-rounder for branch lines
