The Piko H0 sound diesel locomotive Rh 720 of the ČSD, known as T 435.0, was an indispensable part of Czechoslovakian railroad operations in Era IV. As a robust shunting workhorse, it was built from the 1950s and was used both in its home country and in the GDR under the designation V 75. With a factory-installed sound decoder and digitally switchable lighting, PIKO now impressively presents this locomotive.
The model impresses with its free-standing railings, fine body engravings and a detailed view of the driver's cab. The digitally switchable driver's cab and license plate lighting creates an atmospheric appearance. The factory-fitted PluX22 sound decoder with PIKO TrainSound® provides a realistic sound image for shunting and driving operations. The white/red light change depending on the direction of travel is also integrated.
The T 435.0 series locomotives were built in large numbers from 1958 and were used throughout Eastern Europe. They impressed with their reliability and ease of maintenance - ideal characteristics for demanding use in shunting and local freight services.
The factory-installed PluX22 sound decoder makes the locomotive fully digitally controllable. The light functions and the sound can be conveniently operated via standard digital control centers.
Ideal for model railroaders with a focus on Eastern Europe, GDR railroad history and digital operating layouts. Also perfect for operating dioramas, shunting yards and sound enthusiasts.
