With the Piko H0 sound diesel locomotive D.145 of the FS, one of the most striking machines of the Italian state railroad comes to your layout as a fully digitally equipped model. The 70 t diesel locomotive with the Bo'Bo' axle arrangement was developed from the end of the 1970s as part of the modernization of the FS vehicle fleet and was put into service from 1982 with the characteristic orange livery. This Era VI version has a contemporary design with a factory-installed sound decoder.

Detailed, functional & sonorous

The model features free-standing railings, sharply engraved bogie covers and a powerful design with harmonious proportions. The digitally switchable driver's cab lighting (via PluX22 decoder) and the PIKO TrainSound® sound decoder ensure a realistic operating experience with authentic operating sounds. The white/red light change depending on the direction of travel is integrated as standard.

D.145 - FS multipurpose power

The D.145 is just as suitable for freight trains up to 100 km/h as it is for heavy shunting duties. It has been seen throughout Italy since the 1980s - both in large shunting yards and on industrial tracks or in local freight traffic.
