The Piko H0 sound diesel locomotive BR 213 of the DB AG is the powerful further development of the classic V 100 and was intended in particular for service on main and steep lines. In the oriental red paint scheme of Era V, the model is modernized and technically optimized - here equipped with a factory-installed PluX22 sound decoder and numerous digitally controllable functions.

Detailed, digital & ready for use

The model impresses with free-standing handrails and grab rails, finely etched fan grilles and a detailed central driver's cab. The cab lighting can be switched digitally, as can the white/red light change depending on the direction of travel. The cooling system with rotating fan wheel brings additional dynamics into play. The PIKO TrainSound® sound decoder provides realistic diesel noises and sound functions directly ex works.

Class 213 - Reliable on steep gradients and branch lines

As a variant of the class 211, the class 213 was designed for more demanding operations and was used on lines with steeper gradients or with higher loads. In Era V, it was frequently used on regional services and construction trains - robust, compact and versatile.
