Historic one-off with a special design

The V200 1001 was presented as a special design in 1965 under the project name "Messe Leipzig". The use of glass fiber-reinforced polyester for the roof and front section as well as the strikingly designed front windows were part of a long-term test on the use of materials and to improve the locomotive's ergonomics. PIKO implements this unique design with the highest precision - for a real highlight in everyday model railroading.

Digitally prepared technology with lighting functions

The model has an NEM 658 PluX22 interface and is therefore prepared for uncomplicated digitalization. The driver's cab lighting can be switched in digital mode (decoder required), while the direction of travel-dependent light change in white/red is already integrated as standard - for an atmospheric display by day and night.

Solid technology and flexible application options

The locomotive has a length over buffers of 224 mm and is suitable for radii from 358 mm. Two traction tires ensure good traction, even with longer train sets. The NEM shaft coupling with close coupler link allows easy integration into existing car fleets - both in passenger and freight train service.

Sound-capable thanks to simple retrofitting
