The newly designed PIKO model of the V 200.1 has all the visual changes to the roof, body and bogies of the predecessor series, in its basic design the new model corresponds to the PIKO models of the V 200.0. With the free-standing, individually attached front handrails and finely engraved bogies, the model reproduces the prototype exactly. The heavy die-cast zinc frame in combination with the selected motor with two large flywheel masses gives the models excellent running characteristics. The PIKO V 200.1 has a white/red light change depending on the direction of travel and close-coupling kinematics on both sides. The model has a PluX22 digital interface and can be easily retrofitted with sound. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder.
