Description

The striking FS D.145 diesel locomotive is the first PIKO new design of a purely Italian vehicle! With its special appearance, the wide range of applications and the excellent driving characteristics with a successful mixture of attention to detail and operational suitability, this machine will delight collectors of exceptional European locomotives and layout operators alike. The D.145 from PIKO impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, the exact shape of the body, attached grab irons and sharply engraved bogie covers. The light changes white/red depending on the direction of travel using LEDs. The driver's cab lighting installed as standard and the marker lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The five-pole motor with two flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics. The model has a PluX22 digital interface in accordance with NEM 658 and is prepared for simple retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker. The AC model is already equipped ex works with a suitable mfx-compatible PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 PluX22 decoder. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
