With the Piko H0 AC sound diesel locomotive BR 120 of the DR, you now get one of the most striking freight locomotives of the GDR as a fully equipped AC model with PIKO sound decoder and mfx® function. The locomotive is based on the Soviet M62, whose exhaust noise earned it the infamous nickname "Taiga drum". Between 1966 and 1975, the Deutsche Reichsbahn procured 378 locomotives of this type for heavy freight train service.

Fully equipped for AC operation

The model has digitally switchable cab and engine room lighting (with decoder), detailed bogies and high-quality cab equipment.
