The PIKO 54314 type Tw open freight car in the SNCF version is a typical vehicle of the French freight traffic of Era III. With its compact design, robust construction and high side walls, this car was primarily used for the transportation of coal, scrap, bulk goods and wood. It is a versatile vehicle for all classic freight train compositions of the 1950s and 1960s in France.

True to the original design with fine detailing

The model impresses with a precisely reproduced side structure, fine engravings and an authentic color scheme in the style of the SNCF of the post-war period. The typical design with hinged side walls (in the prototype) and the harmonious overall appearance make the wagon an indispensable building block for historically correct freight trains of Era III.
