The PIKO 55032 SD 2000 switching decoder provides model railroaders with a powerful and versatile decoder for the digital switching of magnetic items such as points, shaped signals or lamps. The decoder supports modern control systems and offers numerous additional functions for flexible layout control.
The SD 2000 is certified to RC standard 213 and enables switching via two addresses (DCC: 1-2048, Motorola®: 1-320). It is suitable for classic interlockings as well as for modern digital systems with numerous switching tasks. Addresses can be assigned either by push-button or CV programming.
CV programming can be carried out both via the programming track output and via main track programming. In addition, switch-on times, dimming functions and light modes with flashing effects can be assigned individually. This makes the decoder ideal not only for simple switching tasks, but also for sophisticated lighting scenarios.
A special highlight is the RailCom® capability of the SD 2000. In combination with suitable digital control units such as the PIKO SmartControl WLAN, the decoder can even report back the position of the points - even when operated manually on site. This enables maximum control and overview of all switching states of your layout.
