With the DB class 260 diesel locomotives, PIKO continues its series of excellently detailed models based on DB classics. The PIKO model convinces with its successful mold construction without disturbing mold separation edges and the coherent implementation of all relevant details of the prototype. The PIKO model of the shunting locomotive has straight, precisely aligned platforms, a buffer storage for silky smooth shunting runs without unwanted power interruptions and lighting by means of LEDs. The cab lights and the front and rear lights that work depending on the direction of travel can be switched. Featuring a die-cast zinc frame, the heavy model has a five-pole motor for excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces. The model also has extensive digital equipment ex factory with authentic vehicle sound and a digitally controllable coupler.
