Are you looking for an exceptional H0 steam locomotive with sound, a steam function, and many digitally controllable effects? The Piko 55934 XP Steam Locomotive BR 56.34-35 of the DRB brings a distinctive Era II superheated steam locomotive with a Kobel chimney and factory-installed sound system to the model railroad.
The prototype was introduced in 1917 as the successor to the Class 170. The frame and power unit were largely carried over from the proven Class 170, while the new Class 270 was designed with a shortened boiler and only one steam dome.
Following the annexation of Austria, the Deutsche Reichsbahn took over the fleet in 1938 and designated the locomotives as Class 56.3401–3500. The model reproduces this Epoch II version and impresses with numerous fine details.
Particularly striking are the Kobel chimney, the alternator, and the feedwater and air pumps, all based on the BBÖ design. Delicate running boards, handrails, sand drop pipes, and numerous separate lines ensure a high-quality model appearance.
The model comes factory-equipped with a PluX22 sound decoder, LeoSound inside, and a pulsed evaporator. Cab lighting, under-frame lighting, firebox flickering, and other functions bring this steam locomotive to life.
Get the Piko 55934 H0 XP Steam Locomotive BR 56.34-35 and expand your Era II collection with a well-equipped sound model featuring steam function and the distinctive DRB livery.
