With the Piko 57871 BR 185 electric locomotive in the striking blue livery from Beacon Rail, you can bring modern freight transportation power of Era VI to your H0 model railroad. As one of the most frequently used electric locomotives in Germany, the class 185 stands for reliability and versatility in heavy freight traffic - now as a digitally equipped AC model from PIKO.

Modern design in Beacon Rail version

The model features the bold blue livery of the private railroad Beacon Rail and impresses with its fine paintwork and precise printing. An engine driver figure in the driver's cab provides additional realism and rounds off the visually appealing design.

Digital AC model with factory-fitted decoder

The locomotive is factory-fitted with a PIKO PSD XP decoder and is ready for digital operation. An 8-pin interface (NEM 652) is available. The direction of travel-dependent light change in white/white is also part of the equipment as well as two traction tires for optimum traction.

Technically reliable and robust

With a length over buffers of 217 mm and a minimum radius of 358 mm, the locomotive is suitable for many H0 layouts. Coupling is via NEM shafts (without close coupler link).
