With the Piko 58152 "Metropolitan" train set, you can experience modern long-distance architecture in its purest form. With this train concept, DB AG focused on comfort-oriented intercity traffic - and PIKO is now bringing this concept to your layout as a detailed H0 model of Era VI. The set consists of a BR 101 express locomotive, two passenger coaches and a control car of the 931 regular set.

Elegant design and high model building quality

The vehicles impress with their flush-mounted, crystal-clear windows with a view of individually designed interiors. The precise paintwork in the typical ICE color scheme and the sharply contoured lettering underline the high-quality design. Finely engraved bogies and detailed carriage floors round off the exterior appearance.

Factory-fitted with interior lighting

All carriages have harmonious, indirect interior lighting, which creates a pleasant ambience and sets the train impressively in scene, especially when running at night. The lighting can be switched digitally (with decoder operation).

Technically prepared for sound and digitization

The model is equipped with a NEM 658 PluX22 interface and can easily be retrofitted with a PIKO sound decoder (#56600). The direction-dependent light change in white/red and two traction tires ensure reliable operation even on demanding layouts.
