With the Piko 58412 401Zp low side wagon, Piko is bringing a high-quality and completely redesigned model realization of a modern PKP freight wagon to the H0 layout. As the first large series model of this wagon type in 1:87, the wagon impresses with its precise detailing, high degree of prototypical fidelity and numerous fine add-on parts - perfect for use in modern freight trains of Era VI.
The wagon is characterized by a detailed reproduction of the side walls. Depending on the design, the models are equipped with different floor variants (sheet metal or wood). In addition, intricate engravings on the chains and wedges for attaching the side walls ensure a realistic overall appearance. The finest paintwork and razor-sharp printing round off the visual appearance.
The car is designed for the 2-wire direct current system and has an NEM shaft with integrated close coupler link. This means that the 401Zp can be easily integrated into modern freight train formations. With a minimum radius of 358 mm, it is also suitable for demanding layouts.
Depending on the prototype, handwheels, shunting steps, handrails on the ends and brake hoses are delicately attached - details that not only visually enhance the model, but also realistically reflect the technical appearance of a real operational wagon in modern freight transport.
The 401Zp low side wagon from PKP Cargo complements any H0 layout with international freight traffic with an authentic vehicle from the current Era VI. Thanks to its high level of detailing and robust design, it is ideally suited both for driving and for the display case.
