Description

Pressure variant of the "ERMEWA" articulated tank wagon in the Era VI version. At the beginning of the 1990s, the first tank wagons with a so-called "articulated tank" were built. The design of the boilers was such that the two halves of the boiler incline towards the middle by 3° each. As a result, the contents of the tank, mainly mineral oil products, flow out almost completely without any further aids. As the lightweight steel construction vehicles are suitable for higher speeds, they were soon also purchased by other companies throughout Europe. These wagons can be found as P (=private) wagons in the fleet of all European railroad companies."
